We invite you to join us at any of our Bible studies or worship services.  When you visit, you - and your children! - will be welcomed as guests.  At our worship services, we read and study God's word, sing, and pray.

Every Sunday, we remember Christ's death and resurrection by sharing the Lord's Supper.  Our lessons are based on the Bible alone and not on any book, creed, or confession.

 OUR HISTORY

The church began in Jerusalem almost 2,000 years ago. Every person who believed in Christ and obeyed His gospel was added to His church (Acts 2:38-47). Since then, members of the Lord's church come together, in their specific locality, to do the work God has given the church to do. There are many local churches of Christ around the world. The Chardon church of Christ is one of the Lord's churches that got started over fifty years ago in Chardon, Ohio. We are un-denominational meaning we are not followers of men and their creeds, but of Christ. The Bible is our only creed and we reject all denominational names, titles, and creeds. We are simply the church of Christ, nothing more and nothing less.

"Greet one another with a holy kiss. The churches of Christ greet you." – Romans 16:16

We have absolute respect for the authority of Christ (Matthew 18:18; Colossians 4:17); hence, we teach the simple gospel plan of salvation as He commissioned His apostles to preach it (Mark 16:15-16). We also follow the New Testament's teaching about proper worship. And, because it is the primary work of the congregation to teach the word, we have Bible classes for all ages regularly and support the preaching of the word both locally and abroad. You would be welcome to come and share in the study of the Bible.

Our aim and purpose is simple: we seek to help you go to heaven.

We look forward to sharing the love and joy of salvation in Christ with you!
